STILL at the first LogTech Festival in Hamburg

Last week, the LogTech Festival celebrated its premiere at the Edelfettwerk in Hamburg. The compact event format of the German Logistics Association (BVL) had set itself the goal of “building bridges between the established and the new in the logistics world”. The mix of around 30 participants – from established companies in the logistics industry to the absolute “newbies” of the scene – and more than 300 visitors was correspondingly diverse.

Of course, STILL was right in the middle of the new event format and presented smart product innovations on the future topics of automation, sustainability and energy at its stand – vividly illustrated by the example of the autonomous order picker OPX iGo neo. In addition, STILL invited visitors to the LogTech Now session on the topic of ‘Enabling circular logistics together’ in the festival’s ‘Beach Club’. Here, Frank Müller, Senior Vice President STILL Brand Management, discussed what smart, customer-focused and sustainable solutions for future-proof intralogistics might look like with other representatives of the industry in an airy, relaxed atmosphere.

“The LogTech Festival is a great example of how much our industry is shaped by new ideas, innovations and ways”, summarises Frank Müller. “Particularly in times of great upheaval and necessary change, looking beyond one’s own nose and exchanging ideas with one another are very important – and helpful. I am pleased that we were able to be there and contribute to the important discussion about circular solutions in logistics.”
