Unitechnik takes over Siemens product series: Sinamics DCM Cabinet

Unitechnik recently delivered the first drive cubicle in their new business area. The control cabinets are the Sinamics DCM Cabinet series produced to date by Siemens in Austria. Unitechnik is taking over this product series from Siemens with immediate effect and is to develop it independently.

With a capacity of up to 2,500 kW, the drive cubicles supply energy to direct current motors in large plants and regulate their speed. For the power transmission of large rolling mills, for example, several cabinets are used which can each weigh 600 kg. Among customers, Unitechnik Automatisierungs GmbH is known worldwide for the automation of large plants in the metallurgy sphere.
