FUJINON 4K UHD lenses by Fujifilm used to broadcast the Hockey Champions Trophy

Timeline Television Ltd has been contracted to produce the tournament in the 4K UHD format for BT Sports own 4K channel. With a total of six Sony HDC-4300s and Fujinon’s renowned UA-Series lens models: Telephoto UA80x9 (9-1440mm), Standard UA22x8 (8-352mm) and the all new Telephoto (world’s longest focal range) UA107x8.4 (8.4-1800mm) and super wide-angle UA13x4.5 (4.5-118mm) UHD 2/3” lenses.

This event is the one of the most prestigious in the world of field hockey, headed only by the World Cup and Olympics. The tournament takes place every two years, with teams from six to eight nations which have been separated in to two groups. The current reigning champion is Germany who last won the Trophy in 2014. The all-time champion in this particular tournament is Australia which won numerous consecutive titles. Yesterday’s match (males) was played between India vs. Korea (2:1) which was won by India.
