Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in digital X-ray imaging technology, showcased its Shad-o-Box HS series of high performance, high resolution X-ray detectors for NDT at Electrotest 2014 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.

The Shad-o-Box HS product family of digital X-ray detectors offers users a high speed, high performance CMOS imaging detector with frame rates up to 30 fps and a fast, reliable Gigabit Ethernet interface. Shad-o-Box HS detectors deliver sharp, distortion-free X-ray images with extremely low read noise and excellent sensitivity at X-ray energies ranging from 10 to 225kV.

In addition, Teledyne DALSA displayed its detachable RadEye HR X-ray detector designed for tight spaces. With an image area of 33 mm x 24 mm and resolution of 1650 x 1246 pixels, the Remote RadEye module sits at the end of a 2m USB cable (extendable up to 5m) that plugs directly into your PC or laptop. While designed for portable NDT applications, the Remote RadEye can also be used in fixed installations.
