Angst+Pfister’s pressure sensor starter kit simplifies design process and enables rapid prototyping

Control circuit-board-compatible pressure sensors with I2C, SPI or analogue output and read out the measured values within 10 minutes – the pressure sensor starter kit from Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power makes this possible. Modules for the absolute pressure sensors PBM220 and PBM230, the differential pressure sensors of the 52 series and all Fujikura relative pressure sensors are available – others are available on request.

The starter kit is based on an Arduino Nano board. The plug-in circuit boards can be fitted with up to four sensors. The starter kit can be connected to a PC via USB. The software delivered with the kit and the C source code mean the sensors can be set up quickly, and the readings can be shown on the display or stored in an Excel file. The source code shows the various ways that the readings can be retrieved from the sensor via the I2C or SPI interface (polling- or interrupt-driven), as well as for the analogue version. The pressure sensor starter kit simplifies the design-in process and reduces development times.
