CP Pumpen’s innovative CSR management received silver award

CP receives silver award from EcoVadis for its successful efforts concerning Corporate Social Responsibility.

For years CP Pumpen AG has distinguished itself by special sustainable and energy efficient operations. Recently, it was rewarded with a silver award for its innovative CSR management which resulted out of a rating by the supplier assessment platform EcoVadis SAS.

For many years, innovation and sustainability have been prevailing issues for CP. The pump manufacturer focuses, for example, on the development of energy efficient centrifugal pumps. CP’s experts re-engineered, amongst others, the hydraulics of the magnetic driven pumps product line to significantly optimise their efficiency rate and to increase energy efficiency. For CP, technical innovation is as important as the training and encouragement of junior staff. Their competency is crucial for the company’s continuance as well as for the successful and innovative development of pumps in the future. The internationally active pump manufacturer presents itself as an open and modern company in which people are fostered and operations and development are done sustainably.

Environment, labour practices, fair business practices and sustainable procurement – these are the topics which EcoVadis’ analysing system follows for the assessment of companies’ CSR management. The methodology as well as the criteria are conform to the international CSR standards. EcoVadis operates the first collaborative platform providing supplier sustainability ratings for global supply chains. Their clients include more than 120 leading multinationals as Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, BASF and Merck.
