DIAS Infrared extends its proven fixed PYROSPOT pyrometer series 56. The new digital compact pyrometer PYROSPOT DGE 56N works at short wavelengths from 2.0 µm to 2.6 µm. It allows non-contact temperature measurement in various measuring ranges between 75 °C and 2200 °C on different surfaces, i. e. metal and ceramic.

A special, very “long” continuous measuring range from 150 °C to 2200 °C is available, especially for temperature control and regulation over large temperature ranges. With an integrated laser aiming light or a through-lens sighting, the pyrometer can be precisely aligned to the measurement object. Like all pyrometers in the series 56, the device has a robust IP65 stainless steel round housing and an easy-to-read display and parametrizing buttons on the back of the device.

The temperature linear standard output 0/4… 20 mA allows easy integration into measuring and control systems. The galvanically isolated RS-485 interface enables implementation in bus systems. The pyrometer can be parameterized using the control buttons on the device as well as via the RS-485 interface and software. Different optics enable small measuring field diameters from 1.3 mm. With a response time of only 2 ms (t95), the device is also suitable for fast processes.
