Doing what many can do is easy, but only conditionally promising and beneficial. Doing what only a few can do, on the other hand, demonstrates competence and solution capability at the highest level. This maxim led to the development of the DMP 339P, a newly developed pressure transmitter which, with its flush welded pressure connection inG ¼” design, is an ideal candidate for use in metering and bonding technology.

Thierstein – Interrupted metering beads, material buildup and pulled threads – operators of metering systems can sing a song of these process errors. The newly developed DMP 339P pressure transmitter from BD|SENSORS, which does not require components containing silicone, provides an improvement. The device is aimed at systems in metering and bonding technology and ensures reliable measurement of the working pressure during material metering and conveying – for example, when applying sealants, solder pastes, lacquers or potting material.

In order to be able to carry out necessary cleaning cycles and to prevent material deposits in possible dead spaces, it is absolutely essential that the measurement technology can be connected flush with the system. If the material used hardens at the pressure connection, this will lead to falsified measurement results or, in the worst case, to a plant shutdown. This is where the flush welded pressure connection of the DMP 339P comes into play, which is available in two G ¼” versions. The version with an O-ring on the front ensures the highest possible sealing against the material to be processed. Silicone-containing materials are completely eliminated from the device’s internal pressure transmission to ensure unrestricted use in paint shops and ~streets.

The DMP 339P can detect pressure in a range from 25 to 600 bar and is designed for media temperatures up to 125°C. It is available with a variety of analog output signals to ensure optimal adaptation to operating conditions. An accuracy of 0.5% FSO coupled with good long-term stability ensure reliable pressure detection.

The aforementioned features of the DMP 339P result in high operational reliability with low downtime as well as low maintenance.
