FIPA: Antistatic vacuum cups

Electrostatic charges and the resulting uncontrolled electrostatic discharges (ESD: electrostatic discharge) lead to irreversible damage to sensitive electronic components. ESD is one of the most frequent causes of failure, particularly in semiconductor-based integrated circuits.

Reliable Antistatic Vacuum Cups for Controlled Voltage Dissipation

FIPA’s antistatic vacuum cups prevent electrostatic charging and uncontrolled, rapid discharge, thereby protecting electronic components from damage. Antistatic vacuum cups are therefore an important component in the semiconductor, electronic and automotive industries.

Antistatic material: These vacuum cups are made of conductive or antistatic material, which dissipates the voltage applied to the workpiece in a controlled and damage-free manner.

Surface resistance: A typical value for the surface resistance of antistatic vacuum cups is between 106 and 109 Ω.
