First crane job of the new LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane

The Liebherr LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane was first unveiled to the public at the customer days in 2012 at Liebherr Plant in Ehingen. It celebrated its exhibition premiere in April at the Bauma 2013.

The first machine of this crane model was delivered to crane and heavy transport contractor Albert Regel GmbH based in Baunatal near Kassel, Germany.

The 220-tonne capacity telescopic crawler crane showed what it could do during the construction of a building in Villingen-Schwenningen and proved an immediate hit with its functionality and flexibility for handling prefabricated concrete components.

Liebherr telescopic crawler cranes are ideal for this type of site since the crawler chassis provides excellent off-road capability and superb manoeuvrability. In addition, the full load can be moved with the crane.
