IFM releases new generation of PN sensors

After 20 years of successful product history, it was time for a new generation of PN sensors from ifm. The new PN series combines the tried-and-tested strengths with a considerably increased user-friendliness and robustness.

The overall package makes the difference

After 20 years of successful ifm pressure sensor history, the new generation of PN sensors was developed in close coordination with the users. High overload protection, IP67 for all types of the series, and the captive laser labelling make the new PN sensors your perfect partner even in the most harsh environments.

Everything at a glance

High transparency during setup and identification of machine conditions: Although the housing size has remained unchanged, the display size has been increased once again and the two switching status LEDs on the sensor head can be clearly seen from all sides. The display can be switched from the indication of “red” to an alternating indication of “red – green”. So, switching states can be highlighted or an independent colour window can be created. The sensor is quickly and easily set using the three pushbuttons.

Flexible

Rotation of the fitted sensor – in future also available with 1/4″ external thread – in every direction: this is possible with the new PN. Moreover, you can install it using special angle brackets, available as accessories.
