Both specialists for RFID and mobile data acquisition have decided to join forces to create a mobile terminal for multiple application scenarios.

The RFID UHF unit transmits and receives with a power of 500mW and is equipped with a patented X-Pol antenna design with an extremely homogenous and selective detection field allowing secure, consistent detection from a distance of up to 7 meters. Due to the integrated transponder search function, stock can be easily and precisely searched and inventories carried out.

Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and a long battery life provide enough leeway for individual applications and solutions.

Thanks to the integrated acceleration sensor, the extremely robust M260 can react to any situation, for example, by quickly saving data prior to an impact or switching off a display to save valuable energy.

At close range, the M260 communicates via WLAN, at far range via UMTS or GPRS. All standard data matrix and bar codes are read at close and far range, as are RFID transponders. The quick-entry keyboard can also be operated while wearing work gloves; the additional functional keys can be configured as desired.

Bar codes no longer have to be scanned, leading to substantial time saving while logging and administrating the data for the flow of goods and materials within your company. All this is made possible by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), allowing the device to meet every demand in the fields of logistics, commerce and industry.
