MAZeT GmbH presented its range of services and products for developing and manufacturing user-specific embedded systems for medical technology and LED lighting applications at the COMPAMED trade fair in Düsseldorf. MAZeT used the operator control module of a microscope to demonstrate how an innovative human-machine interface is implemented. The combination of a keyboard, multi-touch pad, rotary encoders, and programmable touch display opens up a wide variety of possibilities for efficient and customizable operation of the target device. The real two-axis rotary encoder provides the customer with a unique selling point for the market and improves productivity and ergonomics when operating the digital microscope.

MAZeT delivers the operator control module to the customer out-of-the-box. The module demonstrates the company’s expertise in applied hardware and software development, combined with series production and manufacturing from a single source. There was a control demo to demonstrate the operating concept.
