Moog showcased its latest MPT Series at the ISC West 2017

Moog Inc. Sensor and Surveillance Systems’ (S3) Business Unit debuted the new MPT (Moog Pan and Tilt) Series of positioners and four new Camera Systems to an audience of more than 29,000 security professionals at ISC West 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. The MPT Positioner Series is engineered with an advanced electronics package enabling new features that simplify integration for demanding applications. The four camera systems include both single and dual sensor options with long and extra-long range configurations, encompassing both day and thermal camera choices.

The MPT Series offers users health monitoring, GPS capabilities, multiple ports for additional configuration, and more customization for those customers with specific application requirements. Additionally, the MPTs are designed into a robust and versatile structure with enhanced controls that allow for finer resoloution and speed control. “The inspiration for the MPT Series came directly from the market. We listened to our customers, we heard their need for evolving performance, and we reimagined a solid product to meet changing market requirements,” said Kevin Domes, Site and General Manager for Moog Sensor and Surveillance Systems.

The new camera systems include: a Mercury Medium Range Dual Camera System, a Legato Extra Long Range (XLR) Dual Camera System, and two MPT-90 Systems encompassing an XLR Day Camera System, and a Long Range Thermal Camera System. The feature-rich Legato XLR allows users the advantages of HD image processing, videotracking, and active stabilization, in addition to GPS-based pointing, and health and usage moniotiring capabilities. “We are rolling out an extensive range of new camera systems to support surveillance and protection of people and assets in multiple environmental settings. Leveraging 50+ years of system integration, these solutions are Moog’s latest developments of thousands of successfully deployed systems designed to support critical requirements worldwide,” said Konstantinos Muhtaris, Sales Manager for Moog Sensor and Surveillance Systems.
