Sensirion’s SGP multi-pixel gas sensor features innovative MOXSens® technology

The siloxane-resistant SGP multi-pixel gas sensor is now available worldwide through Sensirion’s distribution network.

Based on Sensirion’s innovative MOXSens® technology, the SGP offers a unique combination of long-term stability and multi-pixel technology that opens up new possibilities for environmental monitoring. Traditional metal-oxide gas sensors suffer from poor long-term stability caused by irreversible contamination by siloxanes. Sensirion’s proprietary MOXSens® technology provides the SGP with an unmatched robustness against these contaminants that results in unique long-term stability and accuracy. This innovative sensor is available now at global and local distributors.

The SGP30 has been designed for smart home, appliance, and Internet of Things applications. It features two calibrated air quality signals and on-chip humidity compensation. In addition, with the SGPC3, Sensirion offers a low power solution that makes reliable gas sensing available for mobile applications for the first time.

Evaluation and testing are supported by application notes and example code; the SGP evaluation kits are also available through Sensirion’s distribution network.
