Servo Drives for the Profinet World

The servo drives of Jenaer Antriebstechnik GmbH are now at home in the Profinet world, too. The first series, the 2-axis servo amplifier ECOVARO 114 D with Profinet interface is presented at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES. Other series will follow.

ECOVARIO 114 D supports the PROFIDrive application classes 1, 3 and soon also 4. The device is IRT capable (realtime class 3) with cycle times of 1, 2 and 4 ms.

The 2-axis servo amplifier covers the output power range of up to 1.4 kW and is suitable for the operation of 2- or 3-phase synchronous servo motors, DC motors, EC motors and stepper motors. The safety function “STO” (Safe Torque Off) is already on-board.

Position feedback is possible via incremental encoder (RS422, SINCOS) as well as via absolute value encoder (BISS, Hiperface). For more complex applications several feedback systems can be used simultaneously.

Alternative bus interfaces are CANopen, EtherCAT, Profibus, Ethernet, RS232 or RS485.
