Sweet joy through donations: Ice Cream for children in Thierstein Zweckverband

At BD|SENSORS‘ 30th anniversary celebration and open house, the company not only celebrated, but also did some good: employees set up a coffee and cake stand offering homemade treats. The proceeds from the food sales were donated to the Höchstädt-Thierstein Daycare Association with the request that all children be taken into consideration. Sparkasse Hochfranken increased the donation by foregoing a gift in kind on the occasion of the anniversary.

On a beautiful summer day in early September, the time had finally come: the association had the Cortina Selb ice cream truck come to its three facilities – the Noah’s Ark daycare center in Höchstädt, the Spatzennest daycare center, and the Fichtelkids after-school care center in Thierstein.  There, all the children, including the daycare staff, were treated to a free serving of ice cream.  
The surprise was met with great enthusiasm and many happy faces.
