From November 25 to 27, the wenglor sensoric group will be presenting pioneering sensor and image processing solutions at the international trade fair for industrial automation, SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of product innovations and technological highlights. From innovative sensors to modern cloud solutions, the portfolio is more diverse and advanced than ever. A world first this year: the first time-of-flight sensor with blue laser light.

A particular highlight at the trade fair is the new P1PY21 series, which is the world’s first time-of-flight sensor series with blue laser light. Thanks to the shorter wavelength, blue laser light does not penetrate as deeply into object surfaces, enabling stable detection even with dark, glossy, organic or (semi-)transparent materials. Equipped with proven Dynamic Sensitivity technology, wintec with blue light combines precision and innovation, making it the ideal solution for complex applications in automation technology.
wenglor presents the new AI Lab in the machine vision field. The high-performance platform enables efficient data management and training of AI models in the cloud. The uniVision 3 software enables image capture and the powerful execution of AI models on machine vision products. The weHub software ensures seamless communication between the AI Lab cloud platform and the uniVision 3 image processing software. In the “AI Loop” workflow, weHub handles the upload of image data and the download of AI models. Users therefore benefit from an intuitive workflow for easy and fast AI modeling.
In addition to these highlights, wenglor will be showcasing numerous other innovations at the SPS, including the new P1MW contrast sensors for print mark detection in series applications, IO-Link system solutions, new reflex sensors with time-of-flight technology for object detection at long distances, and much more. Visitors can also get information and advice on proven products such as the B60 smart camera, the MVC machine vision controller, the Red Dot Award-winning inductive ring sensors or the P1XD fiber-optic amplifiers. The P1PC series will also be presented, which is expanding the portfolio of laser distance sensors triangulation as an economical alternative to the high-precision P3 series. The P1PC laser distance sensors triangulation cover a wide range of requirements and enable precise adaptation to different application areas. Stable measurement quality with reproducible results ensures process reliability even in high-volume applications.
