Advantech, a leader in industrial IoT solutions, has announced the launch of the innovative EVA-2000 series, a new line of smart wireless sensors featuring LoRaWAN technology. This series marks a significant advancement in industrial sensing with its long-range data transmission and exceptional energy efficiency. The EVA-2000 series includes various models for temperature, humidity, and water leak detection, designed for demanding sectors such as industrial automation, equipment monitoring, and environmental monitoring.
The EVA-2000 series is built around efficient long-distance data collection and transmission, leveraging LoRaWAN technology with low power consumption. It features an incredibly low power draw thanks to its dual 3.6V Li-ion batteries, ensuring extended operation. LoRaWAN compliance provides scalability and cost-effectiveness for deploying numerous devices, simplifying integration with existing systems. Each unit includes an embedded antenna with a compact design, facilitating flexible installation in diverse environments.
The EVA-2210 stands out as a three-phase current meter with a 75A transformer. It is ideal for measuring currents up to 75A in applications such as pumps, fan motors, compressors, computers, and servers. EVA-2210 enhances energy management efficiency by eliminating complex wiring.
The EVA-2310 and EVA-2311 models add versatility to the series. EVA-2310 is designed for monitoring temperature and humidity in offices, hospitals, schools, and warehouses.
EVA-2311 features a PT1000 thermal probe with a 2-meter cable and IP67 protection, making it suitable for detecting extreme temperatures between -70°C and +200°C.
The EVA-2510 is a water leak detector suitable for cooling and water treatment systems, capable of identifying potential issues before they occur and alerting operators. These devices are crucial for industrial processes that rely on precise environmental measurements.
All EVA-2000 products are directly compatible with Advantech’s WISE-6610, an industrial LoRaWAN gateway, offering easy channel setup and data transmission adjustment. Once connected, operators can configure application parameters like update cycles and thresholds via WISE-6610 commands, streamlining monitoring and management.
The EVA-2000 series will be available from March 2024. Contact your local sales office or visit our website for more information.
