Sensorix Long-Time Sensors With Ionic Liquids

Sensorix is pleased to announce that we have extended our range of OEM hydride gas sensors to include Long-Time (LT) sensors based on Ionic Liquids.

Sensors with Ionic Liquids

Ionic Liquids (IL) are organic salts that remain liquid within a wide temperature range, at or below room temperature. In addition, their very low vapour pressure and high thermostability make them suitable for use as electrolytes in gas sensors. This naturally influences the lifetime of ionic liquid sensors, which will always reach at least the 18 months specified in the datasheet, even under harsh environmental conditions.
