United for a cleaner future! At NETZSCH Pumps & Systems, environmental responsibility and social engagement are more than just words—they are part of everyday life. The company’s apprentices recently showcased this commitment during the “Rama Dama” clean-up initiative in Waldkraiburg, where they joined forces to help keep the city clean and protect the local environment.

The “Rama Dama” clean-up campaign is an initiative of the city of Waldkraiburg annually motivating committed citizens to clean up public areas carelessly littered. NETZSCH trainees responded to the call and were set to work, equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and tongs.

Active commitment to a sustainable future

As in previous years, the apprentices formed small teams to collect litter around the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg, making a hands-on contribution to environmental protection. Beyond the ecological impact, the campaign also emphasized the importance of community spirit. It fostered teamwork and encouraged a shared sense of responsibility for sustainable action. “It felt great to do something positive for the environment together. Collaborating with apprentices from other departments also strengthened our sense of community,” said Anna Hausberger, apprentice industrial clerk.

A role model for future generations

NETZSCH is aware of its social responsibility as an international company with regional roots. The trainees’ involvement in “Rama Dama” emphasises this social awareness and shows that sustainable action is important in developing efficient pump technologies and the social sphere. Participation in “Rama Dama” shows everyone can contribute to a cleaner environment.

The apprentices at NETZSCH have shown how important it is to take responsibility for one’s workplace, society, and future generations.
