Angst+Pfister introduces its new 85 series compact differential pressure transmitters

When it comes to pressure transmitters, there are many different products on the market. However, there are fewer differential pressure transmitters and hardly any compact differential pressure transmitters, particularly for use with liquid media. The new 85 series closes this gap.

The internal MEMS chip and ASIC can now be completely coated with gel, enabling the sensor to be used for various liquid media. Of course, a gel coating always has an impact on performance, particularly in the case of low-pressure sensors – that’s why Angst+Pfister has developed a process for low pressures in which it covers the pressure DIE, ASIC and the bonding wires with a thin layer of parylene. With this coating option, great media resistance is achieved with almost no reduction in performance, even at very low pressures.
