Awite starts production of Awi2GO

We are pleased to announce that in mid-December 2024, we received the EU type examination certificate (BMPB) for our new product, the Awi2GO. This milestone allowed us to assemble the first series production Awi2GO just before Christmas. Since then, we have been steadily ramping up production in Niederhummel to ensure we are well-prepared for the upcoming product launch.

However, the Awi2GO still has one final hurdle to clear: the quality management audit for explosive-proof products/production (DIN EN ISO 80079-34), which is scheduled for mid-February 2025. Once we receive this certification, we will begin sales of the Awi2GO.

The Awi2GO has already had a positive impact on Awite, as both our team and facilities have been well-prepared for the new product.

Awi2GO who, how, what

The Awi2GO is the mobile companion for anyone working in the field of renewable gases – from plant operators to consultants, and service technicians on-site. It is ready for use in just 30 seconds. With the ability to analyse up to 6 gases (CH₄, CO₂, CO, O₂, H₂S und H₂) in just 60 seconds, you can quickly get an overview – even in explosive environments.

Thanks to its IP67 protection rating, neither dust nor rain will make life difficult for the Awi2GO. All of this is made possible with intuitive operation and long battery life, thanks to the lithium-ion battery – as simple as using a mobile phone. High measurement accuracy, easy calibration, and optional additional pressure and temperature measurement? Check!

Keep everything in view with easy storage for up to 2,000 plants, 4,000 measuring points, and 75,000 measurements. All securely stored in a robust case, ready for action. Starting in QI, it’s all systems “GO”.
