Whilst clipping punches with shaft diameters over 40 mm have usually been manufactured conventionally and changed with great effort until now, the af-fordable BOLT LOCK system range of standard parts specialist FIBRO now enables highly efficient standardisation on a sophisticated level, savings…

In this way, the system range sets course for further increases in efficiency in tool construction and offers an entire bundle of time, cost, and quality advantages.

Implementing individual geometries

Since BOLT LOCK clipping punches are available in any application-specific geometry according to block data, the system is exceptionally versatile. Clipping punches for the cutting of sheet metal parts, for example, which have usually been used in the form of multiple parts until now, are just as economically manufactured as individual parts. Large perforations on the structured parts of the car body can also be manufactured with no problem using standard punches from the system range. In the area of follow-up composites, BOLT LOCK stamps can also be used to cut stamping strips and circuit boards. Standard clipping punches are manufactured from high-grade tool steel.

Savings of complete operations possible

Since the standard BOLT LOCK system components are considerably more compact than conventional clipping punch systems, they can be build into tools with great efficiency, ideally making entire operations unnecessary. Due to a retention thread, the clipping punch can be changed with minimum mounting effort. Since the components are manufactured at FIBRO in automated serial operation, high quality at an attractive price is guaranteed. A CAD standard parts library provides users with additional design savings.
