Change in the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG, Karsten Helber, has informed the Executive Board, the shareholder family, and the supervisory boards today that he will resign from his supervisory board mandate for personal reasons. In January 2021, Karsten Helber took over the chairmanship of the supervisory board during challenging times and successfully shaped the company’s economic and strategic transformation process during this period.

“I have enjoyed fulfilling the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board passionately in the best interest of the company and actively accompanied the ongoing process of change. I am pleased that I could contribute to the successful development of König + Neurath AG, and I am confident that the management and employees can dynamically continue to advance the company for the benefit of all. Since my role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board was temporally planned for the transformation phase, and my entrepreneurial activities require my full attention and commitment, I have asked the shareholder family to release me from my responsibilities ahead of schedule,” stated Karsten Helber.

His decision to step down is in the best agreement with the shareholder family, who appreciates Karsten Helber for his dedication and commitment to the company, wishing him much success and all the best in his entrepreneurial endeavors.

The shareholder family is pleased to announce that Thomas M. Reimann has been appointed as the successor to Mr. Helber. The experienced CEO of ALEA AG has been personally and professionally connected to the shareholder family for many years. Thomas M. Reimann has repeatedly demonstrated his competencies and diverse skills throughout decades of successful work. He was honored with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany last year for his various volunteer commitments. “It is a great pleasure for me to take over from Mr. Helber and, together with the executive board, the supervisory board members, and the shareholder family, guide the company into the future,” said Thomas M. Reimann.

His strong ties to the region and his longstanding relationship of trust with the König family will play a crucial role in preserving the values and traditions of the family business while simultaneously developing innovative strategies for the future. “I firmly believe that through close collaboration and shared visions, we can further advance the company,” added Reimann.
