EWS is making targeted investments in the further development of the Uhingen site and has commissioned two new machines. By expanding its machine park, the company is strengthening its production capacities at its headquarters and assuming responsibility for the German site.

With the Kellenberger Voumard 1000, EWS is strengthening the high-precision internal grinding of demanding components and expanding its manufacturing capabilities in the field of precision manufacturing. With this investment, EWS is pursuing the goal of expanding in-house vertical integration and increasing flexibility and planning capability in production. In addition, integrated process measurement with automatic correction ensures continuous quality monitoring and reproducible quality.

EWS has also commissioned a Hermle C42 5-axis machining center with automation, which expands the automated machining capacities for the EWS tool portfolio.
With the commissioning of the two new machines, EWS is underlining its commitment to continuously developing the Uhingen site and making targeted investments in modern production structures.
