Capabilities of DENSO robots for IoT applications was demonstrated at the .Net Conference 2016

On February 24th 2016, Microsoft organised a high-caliber event “.Net Conference 2016” in Madrid, Spain. Big thanks to Microsoft, as well as the Spanish dealer DE ROBÓTICA and its partners ENCAMINA and ENTRESISTEMAS, DENSO robot was displayed on stage during the conference with around 1,800 attendants.

The DENSO robot demo showed the possibilities of Internet of Things (IoT) by using Microsoft’s software Azure, which is a collection of integrated cloud services such as analytics, computing, database, mobile, networking, storage and website.The software was connected to DENSO’s robot controller and collected & interpreted data using big data analytics and other techniques to turn the data into actionable information.The demo showed the possibilities of improving the robot controller’s performance, safety, reliability and energy levels.Additionally, the robot was controlled via Microsoft’s intelligent voice command system “Cortana”.
