ENGEL will showcase the latest model of its successful water distribution system at Fakuma 2024: the eco-flomo XL. This larger version of the proven eco-flomo is designed for production environments requiring significantly higher cooling water capacity, making it ideal for large-volume applications in plastics processing.
Compared to the standard version, the eco-flomo XL offers a much higher flow rate, optimized for large production facilities. While the original system was designed for lower cooling demands, the eco-flomo XL supports up to 100 l/min, perfect for large tools and high production volumes. Equipped with a 2-inch inlet and 1-inch circuit connections, it ensures better process stability and energy efficiency.
ENGEL’s 15 years of expertise in optimizing temperature control processes is reflected in the eco-flomo XL. This innovation comes in response to the high energy consumption and frequent temperature-related defects in injection molding, which can account for over 40% of overall energy use.
The eco-flomo XL offers multiple circuit options, adaptable to various production environments. Its robust design, with a brass distribution manifold, ensures long service life and easy maintenance. Integration with ENGEL’s CC300 control systems further enhances user experience.
Operators can monitor flow rates and temperature differences for each circuit, enabling early detection of deviations to maintain consistent production quality.
At Fakuma, visitors can explore the eco-flomo XL in action at the ENGEL booth, with experts available to provide insights into its benefits and applications.
