FRIMO, headquartered in Lotte, Germany, has completed a change in its Management Board, effective January 1, 2023. Paulo Cruz Pinto and Siegfried Köhler form the new dual leadership as co-CEOs at FRIMO Group GmbH.

Dr. Christof Bönsch, CEO of FRIMO Group since 2019, left the company for personal reasons in December 2022. Under his leadership, comprehensive restructuring measures were implemented, and processes initiated for strategic repositioning and reorganization of the value-add structure and business processes to ensure future viability.

Effective January 01, 2023, co-CEO Paulo Cruz Pinto is responsible for Finance & Administration and co-CEO Siegfried Köhler for Sales & Operations. Both co-CEOs have been with the FRIMO Group since the beginning of 2022 and bring many years of industry experience from top management positions in international companies. At prior companies, Mr. Cruz Pinto’s focus was on global finance in the automotive sector and Mr. Köhler’s focus was on international management and sales of tools, machinery, equipment, and production systems for the plastics processing industries.

“In our further realignment, we will focus on FRIMO’s strengths, appropriately develop our core business in automotive interiors, and position FRIMO more broadly for the future with demand-driven production solutions for the entire mobility sector. The optimization of our global manufacturing structures in Europe, America, and Asia, as well as a clear commitment to our German sites are part of this strategy,” emphasizes Paulo Cruz Pinto. Siegfried Köhler adds, “From here, we control the strategic development of our product divisions. Focusing on flexible and economical processes, technology bundling, and automation will be our leverage to satisfy the entire mobility market with sustainable and competitive solutions. In the areas of e-mobility and lightweight construction, we have already been awarded and successfully completed key projects and see ourselves as well on the way to being able to offer real added value to customers from all areas of mobility.”

For 60 years, FRIMO has stood for engineering the best custom tooling and equipment and has received numerous awards. FRIMO solutions are consistently tailored to meet the needs of international customers with elaborate requirements. Tradition combined with high quality standards, comprehensive know-how, and always striving to meet new standards and increase efficiency ensure optimal solutions for complex challenges in creating innovative and sustainable production solutions for the mobility of the future.
