From milling heads to 4-spindle radial drilling heads

A completely new tool unit for thread whirling on sliding headstock lathes was developed, which will be presented to the public for the first time at EMO 2023 on the heimatec stand (Hall 5 Stand D33). The launch on the market is planned in spring 2024. heimatec has developed a tool for the production of high-precision threads, which impresses with its high pivot range, the high surface quality of the workpiece and the time-minimized rear insert change (“quick change”).
