HARTMANN VALVES EXPANDS OFFERING WITH API 6A RENTAL VALVES

Valve manufacturer Hartmann Valves is introducing rental equipment in the API 6A valve sector. Whether for temporary operations, testing scenarios, or short-term projects, the new rental valve offering provides quick solutions for plant operators.

“The expansion of our offering comes in response to the growing demand for temporary and readily available solutions,” says Timo Hein, Head of Service and Repair at Hartmann Valves. “The rental program offers a temporary replacement during repairs or overhauls and allows companies to address operational challenges without needing long-term capital investments.”

For the design of the rental valves, the manufacturer relies on its established constructions from the API 6A standard product line. The specifications for the rental valves, including gearboxes, cover EE-NL (AA, BB, and DD), L/X, PSL 3, and PR1.

In 2021, Hartmann Valves introduced its first standard program in the API 6A valve sector as a specialist supplier. The product line enables not only the replacement of identical valves but also the switch from gate valves to ball valves, which offers multiple advantages: improved operational safety (with two barriers), increased plant availability, and reduced environmental impact, maintenance effort, and operating costs.
