HAWE Hydraulik SE, Munich, is adding another line to its axial piston pump portfolio. The new V40M type has been designed for open-circuits in mobile machines and has a displacement volume of 45 cm3/rev.

Its slewing angle allows very fine and simple variations to the flow rate. With a self-suction speed of 2,900 rpm it is suited for applications requiring operating pressures of up to 250 bar, but which can also experience peak pressures of up to 320 bar. The pump is available with load-sensing controllers and electric proportional controllers.

The pump is practicable for the supply of pressure oil to the hydraulic consumers in constructions machines, snow ploughs, embankment mowers, diesel-powered forklifts, self-driven working platforms, agricultural machinery etc., but can equally be used to drive generators or steer construction machines. Thanks to the falling characteristic curve of the proportional pressure controller, a fan can be driven energy-efficient.

With a length of 208.5 mm it is particularly well suited for deployment as twin pump in machine rooms. In this variant it enables compact and efficient parallel operation of multiple consumers at full load. A power take-off gear or the motor, to which it is connected with a SAE-B flange, directly drives the pump. On request a thru-shaft with radial suction and pressure ports is also available and can be used to mount additional variable displacement pumps or auxiliary pumps.
