New intelligent EtherCAT Drive by Technosoft

The iPOS4808 BX intelligent drive is a new covered-frame unit from the iPOS line, which can control any DC brush, rotary / linear brushless, or step motor up to 400 W with 50 V nominal voltage.

Based on MotionChip™ technology, the iPOS4808 BX-CAT can operate either as a standard EtherCAT drive accepting the CAN application layer over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol, or as an intelligent drive that can be programmed to execute complex motion profiles directly at drive level, using its built-in motion controller and the high level Technosoft Motion Language.

• For brushless, DC brush and step motors
• Motor supply: 11-50 V, logic supply: 9-36 V
• Output current: 8 A continuous, 20 A peak
• CANopen / EtherCAT communication interface
