Patrick Heinen will take on the role of Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) at König + Neurath AG from 1 January 2026. Together with CEO Steffen Schwerd, he will be responsible for the operational and financial management of the restructuring process, as well as for the value-oriented transformation of the business model, which is already underway. The aim of the restructuring work is to further stabilise König + Neurath economically, consistently expand the company’s performance and create the basis for long-term, sustainable and profitable further development.

Patrick Heinen has over 20 years of C-level experience in the restructuring and value-oriented transformation of companies in industry, trade and e-commerce. In the furniture industry, Heinen has already led numerous national and international transformation and turnaround projects – both in owner-managed structures and in corporate and private equity environments. In addition to operational restructuring, Heinen has extensive experience in M&A, investor and buy-and-build processes, as well as in managing complex stakeholder constellations.

“I am looking forward to this challenging task and my return to König + Neurath,” said Patrick Heinen, who previously served as Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at König + Neurath until 2015. “Orientation, transparency, speed and implementation power are crucial for the transformation process. We will work out a comprehensive transformation concept together with all stakeholders and consistently align the business model with value orientation.”

The Supervisory Board also emphasises the importance of strengthening the Management Board: “With Patrick Heinen, we are gaining a proven transformation expert who has extensive operational implementation experience in the office furniture industry. His appointment is an important step in consistently continuing on the path we have chosen and further developing the company in a sustainable manner,” explained Thomas Reimann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG.
