Lindner LIGNA raised floors – cost-efficient and environmentally friendly

LIGNA raised floor panels are particularly suited for offices and equipment rooms as they are both cost-efficient and environmentally friendly.

High-quality LIGNA panels are extremely lightweight and easy to handle. Lindner makes the panels to order, so that air-conducting floors have very tight joints and even cut panels or whole panels with cut-outs are most durable and available in custom sizes.

The Lindner Group collaborates with certified, environmentally conscious suppliers to ensure that our clients employ ecological, non-hazardous products. FSC or PEFC prove that the products are made from sustainable wood. Lindner’s product range covers standard E1 wood panels, panels with lower formaldehyde concentration (e.g. E 0.5) and panels without urea formaldehyde glue.

Not before long, Lindner conducted an LCA for the LIGNA manufacturing base. The Company uses the LCA to improve its processes, tackle environmental certifications and make the data available to potential clients.

An LCA describes the environmental impact of the production process, e.g. its energy/material consumption and its influence on the greenhouse effect, ozone depletion, smog, acidification and eutrophication.

The ecological assessment of LIGNA floors and the environmental product declarations (EPD) are important purchasing criteria for architects, investors and building tenants.
