The core aim of MAZATROL DX is to optimize production for customers through advanced new features. The proven MAZATROL technology now enables fast, automated quoting, automated part programming, virtual machine simulation, and process analysis and optimization.

Secure program creation from office or home

The software includes all functions of a CNC control and allows Mazak customers to securely create MAZATROL programs either at their office PC or from home. Essentially, it creates a completely new manufacturing method enabling quick, intuitive creation of quotes, part programs, and simulations. Manufacturing costs, times, and tooling needs are automatically calculated based on 3D models.

Addressing the shortage of skilled CNC operators

Today’s market suffers from a shortage of skilled CNC operators. MAZATROL DX counters this challenge with a targeted function: new operators receive intuitive programming assistance guiding them through machine setup. Instructions are integrated into the process, enabling faster setup of tooling, fixtures, and automation at the machine.

AI integration for tool management and interactive programming

By using AI features, MAZATROL DX can integrate with a SMOOTH Tool Management system, allowing users to create part programs using existing tools from the current tool database. Seamless automation with the Ez Loader 30 robot

Thanks to clever design, MAZATROL DX can also be seamlessly combined with Mazak’s latest automation solution, the Ez Loader 30. This integrated collaborative robot solution quickly automates Mazak machine tools.

Unattended operation without programming skills

The Ez Loader 30 can run planned production without operator supervision, even for small batch sizes, without requiring specialized robot programming skills. Using the Ez Loader application running on the NC control, operators can plan production and modify parts, fixture data, and robot paths. Setup logic is transferred to the control to simplify interaction with the operator. Programming robot paths, production plans, tooling, and fixtures is possible without extensive expertise.

Compatibility and flexible batch sizes

The Ez Loader 30 supports workpieces up to 18 kg and diameters from 50 to 200 mm. It is compatible with QUICKTURN turning centers and INTEGREX-i and INTEGREX-j multi-function machining centers. The Ez Loader 30 supports up to three pallets, enabling unattended operation for extended periods with high flexibility regarding parts and batch sizes.
