Meusburger’s new logic distributors offers intelligent monitoring in die and mould making process

The new Meusburger logic distributors facilitate the monitoring of die and injection moulding processes for die and mould makers. The new products for the sensors can merge several sensor signals without voltage drop. Integrated LEDs display the current operation and switching state of the electrical components. Thanks to compact and single-row design the installation is quick and simple.

The growing complexity of die and injection moulding processes makes the monitoring of processes increasingly difficult. To facilitate the monitoring in die and mould making Meusburger offers an intelligent solution with the logic distributor. Several sensor signals are merged without voltage drop via a logic gate. Unlike conventional distributors the sensors feature parallel power supply guaranteeing short switching times. That way several power-intensive sensors, such as those of fork light barriers and other optical sensors, can be connected to the manifold. Therefore wiring times are reduced and wiring mistakes are avoided. With the aid of the integrated LEDs the current operation and switching state are signalled visually. The Meusburger logic distributors are ideally suited for monitoring and checking the positioning of cylinders or slides. There are two variations to select from: the E 6574 Logic distributor as single AND/OR version and the E 6576 as double AND version.
