After two challenging financial years and a whole series of changes in the company, the course has been set for the future. Hartmut Hagemann will step down as Chairman of the Executive Board on 31 March 2023, as König + Neurath has already succeeded in winning Mr Marc W. Lorch as his successor at an early stage.

In July 2021, Hartmut Hagemann took over the task as Chairman of the Executive Board in a time of general economic turmoil. Together with his colleagues on the board and the staff, he has positively developed the company, improved its market position and strengthened the family business König + Neurath. It is particularly important to Mr Hagemann to thank all shareholders and the entire supervisory board for their unreserved trust and support. The bond with the family and the company will continue in the future.

Karsten Helber, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG says: “We particularly appreciate the analytical skills combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action and thank Mr. Hagemann with the greatest appreciation for his extraordinary commitment to König + Neurath AG and wish him all the best for his future path.”

The course for the future direction of the company has been set. In 2022, König + Neurath AG is moving above the general market trend. With a robust balance sheet and financial structure, the family-owned company is ideally positioned for further development.

Karsten Helber continues: “With Marc W. Lorch, we were already able to consolidate the succession in May 2022 and thus ensure a smooth transition in 2023. Mr Lorch will guarantee the sustainable further development of the family-owned company König + Neurath, because shared values such as experience, inventiveness and partnership form the basis for constructive cooperation with partners, customers, the supervisory board and the shareholders.” Mr Lorch, currently responsible for sales and marketing, is looking forward to successfully taking the next strategic growth steps together with his fellow board member Dirk Fischer.
