The solids dosing screw Type DSC Hygienic has been designed for maximal production hygiene.

Besides there is to highlight the possibility of Clean in Place without dismantling. The construction is made of stainless steel in suitable quality. All surfaces are abraded mechanically with middle roughness depth Ra<0,8.  All sealings are constantly cavity free. Optionally, all metal parts can be electropolishes.

Equipped with a fine dosing device, consisting of dosing-star and locking disc, a pulsation free feeding flow is generated. The locking disc reacts simultaneously when achieving the set-weight. Excellent dosing stability and shut-off precision are the result. The actuation of the fine dosing device is carried out from the driving side. Therefore the srew is very slim at the laying. Also there is no access needed in this area, as the closing can be pulled out through the tube housing.

For the manual cleaning process, the complete helix shaft can be extended with engine, using the pullout device, which is optionally available. The elastic locking disc is pulled through the metal tube during the extension and has a cleaning effect. Flushing respectively sealing air at the shaft lead through as well as centred and cavity-free junctions are enabling the cleaning in CIP-process without the dismantling of the dosing screw.

EC-Regulations and guidelines about foodstuffs hygiene as well as the new machinery directive are fulfilled. Besides the use in Ex-zones is possible.
