New Times, new opportunities Komptech at IFAT 2024

As usual, we will be taking part in the VDMA’s machine demonstrations and will therefore be able to experience our machines in action at IFAT.

With a holistic approach, we offer solutions for the entire value chain of environmental management, starting with the processing and sorting of waste through to processing for energy generation and utilisation from biomass or substitute fuels. The wide range of products includes shredding, sorting and screening technologies, as well as converters for triangular windrows. Thanks to our many years of experience and technical expertise, we are able to offer customised solutions that meet the specific requirements of our customers. In doing so, we always focus on environmental compatibility and economic efficiency. This focus will also be evident at IFAT, as Komptech stands for technologies that aim to improve resource efficiency and shape a sustainable future.

Brand new product for mixed waste

Due to the ever-increasing proportion of mixed waste, new solutions are needed in this area. Both municipal and industrial waste require professional treatment. On the one hand, to promote the material utilisation of mixed waste, but on the other hand also to enable appropriate processing into alternative fuels for energy recovery. We will be presenting a new product for this purpose at the trade fair. This will not just be a stand-alone product, but will characterise a separate branch of the Komptech brand. True to the motto: “New times, new opportunities”

Technologies for green waste and waste wood

Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to find out first-hand about the company’s diverse solutions from our expert staff and see the performance and reliability of the products for themselves. In the VDMA demonstration zone, a high-speed Lacero 8010 high-performance shredder, the high-speed Axtor shredder, the low-speed Crambo 5000 e-mobile twin-shaft shredder and the Multistar L3 star screen will be presented. The Lacero is used for green waste, the Axtor for logs and the combination of Crambo and Multistar for processing waste wood.

At the trade fair stand, we will be using models, animations and videos to illustrate the wide range of our solutions and services in waste and biomass processing. The various areas of application, state-of-the-art machine and plant technology and their practical implementation will be presented. This also includes information on the range of services and the various rental and purchase options.
