PCO Intensified Cameras for Short Exposure Applications

PCO introduces their single-channel (pco.dicam C1 ) and multi-channel (pco.dicam C4) Image Intensifier Based Camera Systems with enhanced extinction ratio gating.

The family of MCP image intensifier camera systems offers extremely short exposure/shutter times down to 4 ns combined with a 4.2 megapixel sensor. The appropriate spectral behaviour can be selected by the photocathode material of the MCP tube.

pco.dicam C1 – single-channel intensified sCMOS camera

It is the optical coupling of 25 mm high resolution image intensifiers with an outstanding high efficiency tandem lens system to a 16 bit 4 Mpixel sCMOS sensor which makes the camera so unique. The 10G fibre optic based data interface guarantees you uncompressed and
robust 16 bit data transfer of 106 full frames per second via optical fiber over virtually any distance.

The pco.dicam C4 operates four high-resolution image intensifiers in a fully integrated 4-channel sCMOS camera system.

With its high-end optical beam splitters you are able to equally distribute the input light to the 4 image intensifiers. They are coupled with the pco.dicam C1 proven tandem lenses to the 16 bit 4.2 Mpixel sCMOS sensor. It’s the most flexible configuration of 8 individual exposure times and their corresponding interframing times, which makes the camera so unique. The 10G fibre optic based data interface guarantees you uncompressed and robust 16 bit data transfer of 424 full frames per second via optical fiber over virtually any distance.
