Personal exchange in the virtual space: Following its successful participation last year, the Doppstadt Group is once again taking part in the eREC online trade fair. From May 3 to 8, the recycling expert from Velbert will present its latest solutions at the digital trade fair stand. The focus will be on mobile-modular plant concepts, which have become increasingly important, especially against the background of the amendment to the Biowaste Ordinance. This is because the well thought-out combination of individual machines not only enables compliance with the new regulations, which are controversial in the industry, but is also particularly efficient and economical. Interested parties can find out more details about the innovative recycling solution in Doppstadt’s expert presentation.

The Corona pandemic made trade show organizers rethink their approach: More and more events are taking place in virtual spaces -and eREC is one of them. “Of course, personal contact with our customers and partners is irreplaceable. Nevertheless, digital platforms like eREC are a sensible alternative for staying in touch with them and informing the industry about our innovative solutions,” explainsMichael Zeppenfeldt, Head of Sales Germany at Doppstadt. The popular trade fair for the recycling industry will take place digitally for the second time in 2021. “We had very good experiences with the digital edition last year. That’s why we’re taking part again,” says Zeppenfeldt.

Future topic mobile-modular plant concepts

The Doppstadt Group will be presenting its versatile portfolio of mobile and stationary plant technology at the online trade show. The virtual booth will focus on the company’s mobile-modular plant concepts. According to Zeppenfeldt, the timing could not be better: In January, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment presented its draft amendment to the Biowaste Ordinance. According to the draft, biowaste may not contain more than 0.5 percent impurities before treatment. The requirements are causing criticism and unrest in the industry – numerous associations and experts are criticizing the draft as not being technically feasible.Wrongly, says Zeppenfeldt: “Our mobile-modular plant concept can already offer solutions for the future requirements of the legislature. With it, plant operators can not only comply with the required values – it is also particularly efficient and profitable.” This is made possible by a smart combination of individual Doppstadt machines.

Doppstadt will present the highly topical subject of “mobile-modular plant solutions” in its online lectures. On May 5 from 10:30 to 10:45, the environmental technology specialist will give a presentation in German. For international visitors, Doppstadt will give the presentation in English on May 7 from 10:15 to 10:30.
