The office specialists at Bene are furnishing the offices for the shoe experts CCC in “The Squaire” in Frankfurt’s New Work City.

CCC is one of Europe’s largest shoe manufacturers, and it continued its marketing campaign in Germany shortly after entering the Austrian market. Bene furnished the Polish chain store CCC’s new centre for its expansion into Germany in the ultra-modern The Squaire, in New Work City at the Frankfurt airport.

The location of the new CCC headquarters is perfectly chosen in terms of strategy: The Squaire, the world’s largest “reclining” skyscraper, is located directly at one of Europe’s most important hubs: the Frankfurt international airport. The architecture is not the only spectacular element of the multi-award-winning building complex; its comprehensive use concept, “New Work City”, is also sensational. The central business location offers numerous companies over 96,000 square metres of multifunctional office space, including a conference centre, 2,500 parking spaces, hotels and infrastructure with a wide array of opportunities that focus on a positive balance between life and work.
Quality for offices and expansion

Bene designed the new offices for the shoemakers at CCC. These offices inaugurate a new dimension of work and life that promotes performance, motivation and creativity among employees by means of an optimally designed work environment.

Together with JSK Dipl. Ing. Architekten, who were also responsible for the overall design of The Squaire, Bene designed an office environment for CCC that meets these requirements. The focus was on a diversity of zones and areas which correspond to different work situations: reception areas, executive offices, workstations for concentrated work, as well as spaces for teamwork, meeting rooms, and technology islands, coat racks, and archiving.

CUBE_S was chosen to furnish the workstation areas. The modular programme is compact and intelligent in its combination of work surfaces and storage, and it can be organised individually yet remains clearly structured. Its optical and tactile quality is also inspiring. The RIYA swivel chair, the new Bene model designed by PearsonLloyd, stands ready for service. RIYA has already won five international design prizes. P2 Meeting creates a high-quality ambience in the communication areas, while coat racks from the DOCKLANDS series are in the support zones.

Expertise as a hallmark

Fabian Kampa – Managing Director of the subsidiary CCC Germany GmbH, founded in July, and a retail specialist with international experience who has worked for such brands as Depot, Mustang, and H&M – believes that it is extremely important for the office environment to match CCC’s brand. “Just as we want to differentiate ourselves from the competition with our special expertise in fashion, we also want to do this internally. For a company that sets the standard in the fashion industry, design is of course enormously important”, says Kampa. “After all, the visual quality of our products is an important guarantor of our success. At the same time, workmanship, the price/performance ratio, and the products we offer have to match up. The same applies to our new headquarters in Frankfurt. Bene has created the same symbiosis here – namely bringing functionality and experiential design together at a high level – and has designed an inspiring and supportive environment for our work as we enter new markets.”

Success story in Eastern Europe

CCC, a shoe manufacturing firm founded in the 1990s and listed today on the stock exchange, plans to open at least 30 stores this year (2014) in Germany alone. The focus is on a strong local presence. The company prefers 600 to 800 square-metre sales spaces in highly frequented specialty stores and top shopping centres. The company concentrates on high-fashion women’s shoes but also serves the children’s and men’s segments.
CCC currently has a total of over 800 stores in 14 countries. In 2012, they sold 20 million shoes from the “CCC” core brand, as well as their own “Boti” and “Lasocki” brands. The company produces the majority of all of its leather shoes in Europe. Last year CCC posted sales of about EUR 387 million.
