Teledyne DALSA expands its Genie™ Nano GigE Vision camera series with new M4090 and M5100 models

Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in machine vision technology, announced the addition of two very high resolution models to its high-value Genie™ Nano GigE Vision camera series. Powered by ONSEMI’s Python® image sensors, the new 16 and 25 Megapixel monochrome cameras deliver fast, high-quality imaging. The addition of these two new models (M4090 and M5100) gives systems designers even more choice from a growing number of Genie Nano cameras powered by 33 of the industry’s leading CMOS image sensors.

Developed for industrial imaging applications, including intelligent traffic systems, printed circuit board inspection and metrology, the new high-resolution Genie Nano models feature a global shutter and 4.5 µm pixel. Customers can expect high quality, high-speed imaging without distortion, and even faster throughput with Teledyne DALSA’s award-winning and patent-pending TurboDrive technology.

The entire Genie Nano series take full advantage of the Sapera™ LT Software Development Kit (SDK) and field proven Trigger-to-Image-Reliability™ framework for full system-level monitoring, control, and diagnostics from image capture through transfer to host memory.
