URRACO EVO series comes to market

Urraco Evo is Lindner’s new future-oriented series of mobile two-shaft shredders. New to the market, this series scores highly with even more power, a speedier fast-exchange function and the well-known shaft versatility. Whether the assignment is pre-shredding or reducing volume, the focus is not just on wood, plastics, domestic and commercial waste but intentionally also on heavy-duty applications such as scrap metal, mixed scrap and aluminium.

As a recycling pioneer, the circular economy has been part of Lindner’s DNA for more than 75 years. The Carinthian family-owned business, now in its fourth generation, develops and produces technologies and engineered solutions for the global market to transform waste into reusable materials. Exclusively manufactured in Austria – at sites in Spittal/Drau and Feistritz/Drau – its shredders use selected high-quality European components.
Lindner has been producing mobile shredders since 2012, which offer the flexibility of not being fixed to a location but truly excel in their versatile application options. The launch of the new Urraco Evo series sets ground-breaking standards. “We have responded to the changing market requirements – away from a primary segment of light materials and towards more robust and difficult applications. The new product line meets customer requirements in every respect, combining our proven robust construction with new functions and features – in one Urraco series”, explains Gerhard Gamper, Segment Director Mobile Shredding.

Robustness meets quality

The newly launched Urraco Evo series in its latest design combines proven Lindner technology with a multitude of new features. Modular design, robust construction, quality and precision manufacture – Lindner has focused more on automation and robotics while ensuring efficient processes and maintaining the high quality of the core components. “When designing the Evo series we asked ourselves two questions: Which features have proven most valuable over the decades? And which features could we use to better support our customers?”, says Andreas Klapf, Head of Engineering at Lindner. “We have also further automated the manufacture of our cutting unit and shafts. Through the targeted use of this technology we are able to increase our competitive edge in terms of robustness, stability and reliability – and even successfully use the Urraco Evo for applications such as mixed scrap metal and aluminium.”
