The TC430 Supreme is Walter AG’s new HSS-E-PM thread former especially for ISO P materials. It is available with or without lubrication grooves and with one of three types of internal cooling: axial, radial, or none at all. The thread former is suitable for blind holes and through holes, and comes in two grades.

The extremely long tool life is the result of a new substrate, a geometry with more polygons, and an innovative new kind of pre-treatment and post-treatment. The result is that, despite having more polygons, the TC430 Supreme reduces the torque by around 30%. This means that the TC430 Supreme is ideally suited to machines with a low power consumption. The multilayer HIPIMS coating is a completely new feature that makes it possible to achieve an extremely long tool life in all ISO P materials.
