WANGEN’s BIO-MIX progressing cavity pump and X-UNIT system attracted visitors at the IE expo 2019

IE expo 2019: Chinese visitors to the trade fair showed great interest in WANGEN pumps for biogas, waste water treatment and environmental technology

At last year’s IE expo in Shanghai/China there was major interest in WANGEN PUMPEN, and specifically in the WANGEN BIO-MIX progressing cavity pump and the new modular WANGEN X-UNIT system for removing foreign bodies and crushing. Innovative “Made in Germany” technologies are very much in demand in China and WANGEN products scored on all fronts with their innovative design, robust construction and extreme ease of service. “We look forward to the future very positively, specifically to forthcoming projects in the waste water treatment and biogas sectors, in which our high-grade pumps and products are ideal for use in Asia as well,” explains Florian Holub, WANGEN Sales Manager for Asia.

IE expo is the most important trade fair for environmental technology in Asia and was recently held from 15 to 17 April in the Chinese city of Shanghai. Joint success as an exhibitor in Shanghai: Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH with its sales partner ROSTAC.

One step ahead: The company, which has its headquarters in Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany, celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. Since 1969, the pump factory has continued to successfully grow from being a niche provider in the agricultural sector to becoming a global supplier of progressing cavity pumps and twin screw pumps for a wide range of different segments.
