Fliegl releases new high-performance oil filter specially designed for extreme agricultural applications

Hydraulic systems are used in the numerous and multi-faceted processes of agri-logistics. So that these processes can run reliably over the long term, the hydraulics have to provide trouble-free operation – and this is ensured by clean oil.

Fliegl engineers have developed a high-performance oil filter which is designed to withstand the extreme requirements of everyday conditions in agriculture. The Fliegl filter has a visual clogging indicator (opening pressure: 5 bar); the fill material used by Fliegl consists of multiple layers of inorganic glass fibres. Maximum operating pressure is 280 bar, and the bypass opening pressure is 7 bar. The volume flow can be up to 118 litres per minute. The connections use the standard G¾” thread. The Fliegl filter reaches the following values as defined in ISO 16889:

• Filter fineness: 11.4
• Dirt absorption capacity: 32.0 g at 5.0 bar
• ßx(c) value: 1000

The printed Fliegl logo clearly identifies the filter as an original part, and the spare element number is also printed on the filter and filter element, which makes reordering uncomplicated:

The Fliegl filter can now be ordered as initial equipment for all Fliegl machines. For straightforward retrofits to machines from other manufacturers, it is available from the Fliegl Agro Center.
