Klaus Union ensures greener operation with the installation of photovoltaic system in its facilities

While its magnet drive technology is inherently designed to protect people and the environment, Klaus Union is taking steps to make broad areas of its operations greener – worldwide.

In this context, the Managing Director Alexander Enghardt visited its subsidiary KUI Pumps in Pune, India, to get an on-site picture of this process. The photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the building covers 2/3 of the factory’s total energy requirements and thus significantly reduces its carbon footprint.

And since he was just there, Alex planted a tree – in the spirit of sustainability and as a symbol of the foundation of growth. As the plant grows, so does the relationship, and as the roots grow deeper, the relationship strengthens.
