My bed, my fantasy world – all children love to duck out of sight and to build their own hide-outs. PAIDI, the manufacturer of children’s and youth furniture knows about this favourite playing of children and that is the reason why the company offers now matching canopy constructions for its play, high and bunk beds. By means of the new fabrics “Ozean” and “Märchenzauber” the old-established business encourage the offspring to act out its powers of imagination.

It is an unexplored phenomenon, but children of all societies and nations build their dens or hide-outs – above all at the age between three and eight years. For kids this hiding place would offer a kind of freedom, beyond the parental field of view. Thus they would avoid the control of adults and took the first steps to independence, knows developmental psychologist Prof. Dr. Zimmermann. “And we would like to permit this opportunity for spending time with oneself by means of our canopies and fabrics”, says PAIDI manager Udo Groene.

Canopy construction – my bed gets a roof

“During the last both years we have already put two of our models with canopy construction as well as matching fabrics on market: Eike and Sophia. The response was so positive that we extend now our Kidsworld range by these supplements appropriate for children”, tells Groene. So, for the models Biancomo, Eike, Fleximo, Sophia and Varietta canopy constructions ‘low’ for beds and play beds as well as curtains and canopies are available from now on.

The bed can be equiped with an additional fall protection in front and a protective side behind – therefore the little dreamers not only sleep safely but also in their own little world.

“The first time we have mounted the canopy construction on the bed, we all would like to be child again because it looked so comfortable. At first sight we were sure that a little ladder would be the finishing touch”, decribes PAIDI designer Bruno Agostino.

As elder children also love dreaming and being alone for a while, there is also a canopy construction ‘high’ available for beds.

Excursion into the sea or in the fairytale world

Diving for a disappeared treasure or exploring the sea like Jacques Cousteau? Or, rather going on excursion in the fairytale world with Brothers Grimm or Hans-Christian Andersen? PAIDI permits that these dreams come true by the means of the two new themes “Ozean” and “Märchenzauber”.

There is a lot to tell and to look: different motives from numerous fairy tales were harmoniously combined on the curtains “Märchenzauber”. The suitable canopy with lovely details like borders with little crystals not only rounds off the general picture of the bed but makes also girl’s heart beat faster.

The deep blue curtains of the theme “Ozean” with a coloured underwater world including whale fishs will inspire the little adventurers as well as the canopy with cotton-wool clouds.

“Our themes “Jungle” and “Bags” or rather “Sophia” also match with our new canopy constructions”, explains Groene. So everybody will find the right theme to create his own fantasy world.
